The S3 is the one being built
Quick, heavy and four wheel drive, and the standard seat is built for comfort rather than for holding you. In a car that puts down that much torque through all four wheels, a driver bracing against the seat instead of steering the car is not getting the best out of it.

The third generation A3 from 2012 takes a different bracket entirely, and the two overlap. If your car is a 2012 or 2013, send us the registration rather than going by the year, because that is where people order the wrong one.
