One warning before anything else

A hybrid carries high voltage cabling and there is a great deal of low voltage wiring under the seats besides. If you are not entirely certain what runs where, have the work done by someone who is. The consequences of getting this wrong are not the usual ones.

The XW20 is the one that sold

This is the generation that made the Prius a household name and it sold in enormous numbers. Which means a great many are still working, often as private hire cars, with three hundred thousand miles and a driver’s seat that gave up somewhere around half of that.

That is the honest reason most of these brackets get bought. If it is yours, ask us about padded options or a reclining seat rather than a fixed racing bucket, because a hard shell over a full shift is miserable.

Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
