The interesting versions of this generation had Honda’s four wheel steering system, which turns the rear wheels with the fronts at speed and against them at low speed. It changes how the car responds to steering input in a way that takes some getting used to.

The 2.2 VTEC in the VTi is the engine with the following, and it remains the standard swap into lighter Hondas. Good fourth generation Preludes are getting scarce as a result, because a great many were broken for parts.
