A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Honda Prelude, fifth generation, 1997 to 2001. Part number SB301.

The BB6, the last Prelude Honda built before the name disappeared for two decades. The fourth generation takes SB235.

The ATTS cars

The Type S, and in some markets the SH, came with Honda’s Active Torque Transfer System, which actively overdrove the outside front wheel through a corner. It is one of the more interesting things Honda have done to a front wheel drive car and it makes the Type S the one people chase.

That system is also why a driver who can feel what the front axle is doing gets more out of the car, and why sliding about in a soft seat costs you more here than it would in an ordinary Prelude.

Good fifth generation Preludes are appreciating and original interiors are part of that. Store what comes out somewhere dry.
