A Planted Technology seat bracket for the BMW 1 Series, 2008 to 2011. Part number SB139.

The E82 and E88, which is the generation with the straight six and rear wheel drive, and the reason people care: the 135i, and beyond it the 1M. Small, quick, and driving the correct wheels.

The related part numbers

This is the base of the SB139 family. The M140i takes SB139-1, which is the later F20 generation. Different car, related design, and worth sending us the registration to separate them.

We also list an OMP subframe for the E87 hatchback, which is the same generation in a different body.

What the car needs

A 135i is short, stiff and rotates quickly, and the standard seat lets you move about while that is happening. The 1M came with better bolstered seats and they are worth real money now, so if yours is a 1M, tell us before you order anything.

Practical

A 1 Series is not large inside and the tunnel is substantial. Tell us your height and build.
