The BK, built 2003 to 2009. We list four Mazda 3 brackets across the model’s life: this, SB260, SB264 for the third generation and SB404 for the fourth. Send us the registration and we will name the one your car takes.

The first 3 is Ford underneath

Built on the C1 platform Mazda developed with Ford during their partnership, shared with the Focus Mk2 and the Volvo C30. That is why the chassis was so much better than the class expected and why parts cross over more widely than the badge suggests.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Planted brackets are special order from the USA

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.

Special order, so non-returnable once shipped

Once your bracket has shipped from the USA for your order, our non-returnable policy applies. It was bought in for you specifically.

That makes it worth getting right first time. Send us your car and the seat you are fitting and we will confirm the correct bracket before you buy.
