Measure before ordering: this Lexus has two floor mounting patterns. Select SB092 or SB092.1 by the centre-to-centre spacing of the two front seat-mounting bolts in your vehicle floor, then select the seat side. Manual/automatic gearbox type alone does not confirm fitment.

Planted Technology seat brackets for the Lexus IS250, IS350 and IS-F, second and third generation, 2006 onwards. This listing includes both SB092 and SB092.1 floor patterns, with left and right brackets available separately.

You must measure the floor mounting points before ordering

This vehicle range has two different seat bracket designs depending on the spacing of the mounting points in the floor. Do not choose by gearbox type alone. SB092 is usually listed for manual cars and SB092.1 for automatic cars, but Planted confirms there are exceptions. Your actual floor measurement determines which bracket you need.

Identify the side you are fitting. On a right-hand-drive car, the driver is on the right and the passenger is on the left.
Measure straight across between the centres of the two front seat-mounting bolts in the vehicle floor. Do not measure the outer edges, the seat runners or the holes in the seat.
Match that measurement and side to the table below, then select both the floor pattern and seat position before adding to your basket. Measure each side separately if ordering a pair.

The .1 code identifies a different floor pattern. It is not an updated version of SB092. On the right side, the front bolt spacing differs by 28.575 mm; on the left, it differs by 25.4 mm. A matching width on opposite sides does not make left and right brackets interchangeable.

If your measurement does not match, or you are unsure, contact us before ordering. Send your measurement, the side required, vehicle year/model and clear photographs of the floor mounting points. A registration number or manual/automatic description alone is not enough to confirm this fitment.

Seat position and quantity

Each selection is one bracket for one side. Our driver/passenger options are labelled for right-hand-drive cars. Planted uses US driver/left and passenger/right terminology, so check physical left/right when comparing its part codes. If your car is left-hand drive, ask us to confirm the appropriate side.

Fixed frame or sliding runner

The mechanism option is separate from the floor pattern. Choose Fixed position frame or Slide subframe as required. Adding a sliding runner does not change which floor bracket your car needs. Tell us your seat and runner model so we can check the upper mounting pattern; floor fitment alone does not confirm seat or runner compatibility.

Planted offers Standard and Alternate Cobra/Scheel-Mann slider patterns. The standard pattern includes Recaro; the alternate replaces that pattern. Cobra narrow and wide runners differ. If you use Cobra wide, Scheel-Mann or Bride runners, contact us before ordering to check the required parts.

Before installation

Test the bare bracket against all floor mounting points before assembling the seat and runners. If it does not align, stop and contact us with photographs and measurements. Professional installation is recommended. Check the vehicle’s airbags, occupancy sensors, seat-belt mountings and electrical functions with your installer.

Check the seat and runner mounting pattern separately from the floor pattern. These brackets support a range of aftermarket seats using the appropriate runners and, where needed, side mounts. Compatibility depends on the complete combination, not just the seat brand.

The standard Planted slider pattern includes Recaro. Cobra wide and Scheel-Mann runners may require the alternate pattern; Bride runners also need a specific compatibility check. Contact us with the exact seat and runner model before ordering if unsure.

How do I choose between SB092 and SB092.1?
Measure between the centres of the two front seat-mounting bolts in the vehicle floor, then match your measurement and side to the table in the description. SB092: right 425.45 mm, left 400.05 mm. SB092.1: right 454.025 mm, left 425.45 mm.

Can I select by manual or automatic transmission?
No. Those are the usual catalogue groupings, but exceptions exist. You must measure before ordering.

Why do I need two selections?
The floor pattern chooses SB092 or SB092.1. The seat position chooses the physical side. Both together determine the part code. Neither choice is preselected.

Does the floor measurement confirm my seat will fit?
No. Seat, runner and side-mount patterns are separate. Send us the seat and runner model if you need compatibility checked.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Choose the Slide subframe mechanism option for a sliding runner. Check the runner and seat mounting pattern before installation. Our sliding-runner guide explains the options.

Is driver/passenger labelled for a UK car?
Yes: RHD driver means right and RHD passenger means left. Planted's US terminology calls these passenger/right and driver/left.
