A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Chevrolet Camaro, 2010 to 2015, excluding the ZL1. Part number SB137.

Read the exclusion. The ZL1 takes its own driver side bracket under SB137.1, and the sixth generation from 2016 takes SB284 entirely.

The fifth generation problem this solves

This Camaro is famous for how little you can see out of it. High belt line, small glass, thick pillars and a driving position set low behind a deep dashboard. Adding a competition seat lowers you further, which makes an already poor view worse.

That is worth thinking about honestly before you order. Tell us your height and how the car is used, because on this particular car the height you end up at matters more than it does on most, and there are drivers who need a higher mount rather than a lower one.

The ZL1 seat question

If your car has factory Recaros, tell us before you spend. They are good, they are worth money, and a Recaro will not bolt to standard side mounts because Recaro use their own arrangement.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
