A Planted Technology seat bracket for the BMW 3 Series coupe on the E36 chassis, 1992 to 1999. Part number SB006.

Coupe is the fitment. The E36 saloon takes SB108 and the E46 saloon takes SB121, so count the doors as well as checking the chassis code.

The coupe is the one that gets built

E36 coupes are the default cheap drift and track car in this country, and they have been for twenty years. That has consequences for buying one and for fitting a seat to it: most have been through several owners who were not gentle, and a fair number have had bodywork.

Which makes the floor check non-negotiable

Get the carpet up before you spend anything. Look at the metal round all four mounting points and look for evidence of repair. On a car that has been drifted, the seat area sees loads the factory never intended, and a bracket can only feed that load into sound structure.

The M3 seats

If yours is an M3 with the Vader seats, they are sought after in their own right and worth real money. Store them and their fixings properly rather than letting them go with the car.

Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
