A Planted Technology seat bracket for the BMW 3 Series saloon on the E36 chassis, 1992 to 1999. Part number SB108.

Saloon is the fitment. The E36 coupe takes SB006 and the two are separate parts, so count the doors.

Why the saloon is the smart buy now

Coupes carry a premium and saloons do not, which makes the four door the cheaper route into the same chassis. For a track or drift build that is money better spent on the seat, the suspension and the tyres.

Saloons also have proper rear doors, which sounds trivial until you are fitting a cage or getting equipment in and out.

The floor check is not optional on an E36

These have been cheap for twenty years and a great many have been used hard by several owners in a row. Get the carpet up and look at the metal round all four mounting points, and look for repair. A bracket can only feed seat load into sound structure.
