A Planted Technology seat bracket for the BMW 3 Series coupe on the E92 chassis, 2007 to 2013. Part number SB120.

This is the base part for a whole family of BMWs

SB120 is not just an E92 part. BMW carried the same seat mounting arrangement forward, so suffixed versions of this design cover the F22 2 Series, the M2, the F80 M3 and the M240i.

That is genuinely useful if you are cross shopping, and it is also why you should send us the registration rather than picking from titles. The family is wide and the suffixes are what separate the cars.

The E92 M3

The only V8 M3 BMW built, with the S65, and now firmly collectable. If yours has the optional bucket style seats, they are worth money and worth keeping. Tell us before you spend.

The E90 saloon and E93 convertible of the same generation take their own parts. Count the doors.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
