A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Volvo V70 estate, 1996 to 2000. Part number SB231.

The first generation V70, which is a facelifted 850 underneath rather than a new car. That is genuinely useful to know when you are hunting parts, because 850 components frequently carry over.

Volvo of this era engineered a great deal into their seat structures, including side impact protection integrated into the seat rather than bolted to it. That is worth understanding before you remove one, and worth being honest that a competition shell does not replace it. On a car that stays on the road, think about that properly.
