A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Mini Cooper hatchback, third generation on the F55, F56 and F57 chassis, 2014 onwards. Part number SB387.

Three chassis codes: F55 five door, F56 three door and F57 convertible. The earlier R50, R53 and R56 cars take SB094.

It is a BMW platform now

The F56 moved the Mini onto BMW’s UKL front wheel drive architecture, shared with the 2 Series Active Tourer. It is a bigger, heavier car than the R53 that made the modern Mini’s reputation, and it is considerably more refined.

The JCW and GP

The John Cooper Works cars are the ones tracked, and the GP is a two seater with a cage behind you from the factory. If yours is a GP, tell us, because the rear structure changes what you are working with and the factory seats are worth keeping.
