A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Mazda 3. Part number SB260.

Send us the registration before you order

This listing does not carry a year range and we carry three Mazda 3 brackets: this one, SB264 for the third generation and SB404 for the fourth. The Mazda 3 has run across four generations that do not share a floor.

Choosing between three listings when one of them has no dates on it is not something we should be asking you to do. Send us the registration and we will tell you which you need. We are adding the fitment data to this listing.

The MPS

If yours is a Mazdaspeed 3 or a 3 MPS, that has its own listing under SB183, so check there first.

What the swap gains you

The standard seat is comfortable and offers very little laterally, which shows up quickly once the car is driven properly. On a front wheel drive car with real torque, a driver bracing with their arms is not steering cleanly.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is car-specific, so match the vehicle in the product name to your exact car and generation. If you are unsure, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Availability

Planted brackets are special order from the USA

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.

Need it faster? Ask us before you order. We occasionally hold overstock of the popular models, and we can tell you what is on the shelf.

Special order, so non-returnable once shipped

Once your bracket has shipped from the USA for your order, our non-returnable policy applies. It was bought in for you specifically.

That makes it worth getting right first time. Send us your car and the seat you are fitting and we will confirm the correct bracket before you buy.

In-store displays:
