A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Audi A7, S7 and RS7, first generation, 2010 to 2017. Part number SB342.

The C7 platform, shared with the A6 of the same period. If you are cross referencing, the A6 and S6 bracket is SB348, and the two are separate parts despite the shared platform.

The RS7

Four litre twin turbo V8, four wheel drive, and around two tonnes. That combination generates cornering loads well beyond what a comfortable grand tourer seat was designed to resist, which is the whole reason anyone fits a shell to a car like this.

Nobody is doing it for weight. In a car this heavy a steel framed shell will not move the scales, and it is worth being clear about that before you spend.

An RS7 seat can have powered adjustment in several planes, memory, heating, ventilation, massage, side airbags and occupancy sensing. It is a wiring and coding job as much as a mechanical one.
