A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Audi A4 and S4 on the B8 chassis, 2008 to 2015. Part number SB098.

We carry the whole A4 run and none of the brackets interchange: B6 is SB097, B7 is SB093, this is SB098 and B9 is SB375. There is also an S4 specific variant under SB098-1.

What changed with the B8

Audi moved the front axle forward, which improved the nose heavy balance the earlier cars were criticised for. The B8 S4 also dropped the V8 for a supercharged V6, lighter over the front axle and considerably more usable.

It is still a heavy four wheel drive car that generates a great deal of grip, and that is what loads you sideways. Nobody fits a shell to a B8 for weight.
