A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Acura TSX, second generation, 2009 to 2014. Part number SB276.

In this country that car is the Honda Accord of the same period, the CU. Acura was Honda’s North American badge and the TSX is the European Accord sold under it, which is why the naming is back to front from a UK point of view.

The first generation TSX takes SB178. Send us the registration and we will confirm.

The V6 and the estate

Two things this generation gained that the first did not: a 3.5 V6 option, and a Sport Wagon. The estate in particular is rare and has a small devoted following.

What the swap gains you

The standard seat is built for a comfortable executive saloon. It is well made and it gives you nothing to brace against, which becomes obvious as soon as the car is driven properly.

If the car covers distance rather than laps, ask us about padded or reclining options instead of a hard shell.
