A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Acura TSX, 2004 to 2008. Part number SB178.
In this country that car is the Honda Accord of the same period, the CL7 and CL9. Acura was Honda’s North American badge and the TSX is the European Accord sold under it, which is why the naming reads back to front from here.
The second generation TSX takes SB276.
The Type S is the one
The UK and Japanese Accord Type S and Euro R have the K20 and a properly sorted chassis, and they are quick enough that the standard seat becomes the limit long before anything else does.
The Euro R in particular came with Recaro seats that are worth real money in their own right. If yours has them, tell us before you spend, and note a factory Recaro will not bolt to standard side mounts because Recaro use their own arrangement.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
