The 2011 to 2012 boundary
Dodge substantially revised the interior for the 2012 model year, which is why the numbering splits there. If your car sits on that boundary, check the build plate rather than the registration year, because the two do not always agree.
What the swap gains you
A Challenger is heavy, so nobody fits a shell to save weight and it would not register. What changes is how much you slide about when the car is loaded up, and on the SRT and Hellcat versions that becomes obvious as soon as you use the engine.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Is this for the driver or passenger side?
This listing is the RHD Passenger Side frame. The two sides are separate parts, so if you are doing both seats you need one of each. Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
