A Planted Technology seat bracket for the BMW 3 Series saloon and convertible on the E90, E91 and E93 chassis, 2006 to 2013. Part number SB141.

Planted’s own listing, covering the saloon, touring and convertible because BMW used the same floor across them. We also list it against the E93 convertible and a further E93 listing so owners find a page naming their car.

The E92 coupe is a separate part, SB120. Count the doors.

The E90 335i

The N54 twin turbo is the engine that made this generation interesting, and it responds to work in a way BMW probably did not intend. It is also the generation where a great many owners discovered what a high pressure fuel pump costs.

What the seat is for

The standard sports seat is decent and still lets you move once the car is loaded up. Once a harness goes in that becomes the limiting factor.

Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
