The new Emira went on sale in March 2022 and came with a 3.5 litre supercharged V6 sourced by Toyota.
Once you start using your Lotus Emira for fast road and track use, you’ll soon realize just how much you need new bucket seats to provide more support.
On cornering, you may find yourself holding onto the steering wheel tighter than usual, tensing your thighs and legs against the central console and/or door card. You’ll probably find your weight shifting in the seat and having to re-position yourself after the corner.
None of this is correct. Your seat should provide the right level of support so that you can grip the steering wheel only for steering, your legs should be supported and your weight shouldn’t shift around. The recommendations we provide are to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported allowing you to focus on the job at hand.

Recommended bracket: (Bucket seats)
We recommend the Tillett lotus Emira specific runner and bracket kit to successfully install the Tillett side-mounted bucket seats we suggest in our guide. The kit has all the fittings to bolt the recommended Tillett seat types directly into the car. The Emira bracket set has the belt mounting points for the original seat belts.
Suitable Tillett seats for the Emira using these brackets are B6 Screamer, B6XL Screamer, B7, B7XL, B8, B9, B10 & B10XL.
