The lowest of three heights Planted make for this vehicle, alongside the medium and the tall. These are genuinely different parts, so the choice matters.

Who actually wants the low one

Tall drivers, anyone wearing a helmet in the vehicle, and anyone running a cage or roof console that eats headroom. It is also the right answer if you simply find the standard 4Runner position higher than you like, which some people do.

If the commanding view over the bonnet is a large part of why you own it, go medium or tall. On a 4Runner that view is how you place the front wheels off road, so losing it is a real cost.
