The Leone is the car Subaru built their reputation on before the Legacy and the Impreza existed. It is also the car they took rallying first, and the RX Turbo version competed in Group A. Everything people associate with the brand traces back through it.

That is why the surviving four wheel drive coupes have a following out of all proportion to their numbers.

Leones have thinned out badly and interior parts do not exist new. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so the original seats come out whole and can go back in. Store them and their fixings somewhere dry.

Practical

Forty years old and never expensive. Get the carpet up and look properly at the metal before you spend anything.

A period trimmed shell suits one far better than a modern bucket.
