An iQ is under three metres long. Toyota engineered it obsessively to fit three adults and a child into that, moving the differential, redesigning the steering rack and flattening the fuel tank to save centimetres.
All of which means space is not a consideration here, it is the whole problem. There is very little between the door card and the tunnel, the roof is low, and a wide shell will not go in at any price.

Weight, and there is a small scene around them. The Aston Martin Cygnet was the same car, which remains one of the odder things to have happened in the industry.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
