The Baja is an Outback with a small pickup bed cut into the back and a folding pass through into the cabin. It sold poorly, was dropped after four years, and has since become quietly collectable precisely because nobody else has tried it since.
It was never sold here, so a UK vehicle is an import and the parts supply reflects that. A bolt in bracket that needs nothing fabricated is worth more on a car like this than the part costs.
