A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Saab 9-3, second generation, 2003 to 2014. Part number SB305.

The first generation 9-3 is built on the old 900 platform and takes SB280. This one is not: General Motors moved the 9-3 onto their Epsilon platform, which it shares with the Vauxhall Vectra C of the same period. Two quite different cars under one name.

Parts are the real argument for a bolt in bracket

Saab stopped in 2011 and the last cars trickled out under NEVS. Nobody is making 9-3 interior parts and the supply is what is left in scrapyards. That makes it worth keeping the original seats whole and stored rather than cutting anything, and it makes a bracket that needs no fabrication worth more here than on a car with plenty of alternatives.
