A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Mazda B Series truck, fourth generation, two door, 1985 to 1998. Part number SB335.

Two door is the qualifier, so check what you have. The fifth generation takes SB391.

Mazda built these, and then Ford sold them too

The badge engineering ran both ways over the years, which is why B Series and Ranger parts cross reference so widely. For this generation Mazda built the truck and Ford sold a version of it, and then the arrangement reversed for the fifth generation.

Why these get seated

Almost always because the original has collapsed. A thirty year old working pickup seat has usually lost every bit of shape it had, and a competition shell on a bolt in bracket is a straight upgrade rather than a motorsport modification.
