The Elantra Sport is the reason

Hyundai put the 1.6 turbo and a multi link rear end into this generation, which is a genuine departure for the model and the first Elantra worth building. The ordinary cars keep a torsion beam and are transport.

That distinction matters when you are choosing a seat. If yours is a Sport being taken on track, a proper fixed shell makes sense. If it is an ordinary Elantra with high mileage and a collapsed original seat, you want something padded and probably reclining, and we would sell you a different thing entirely.
