A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Honda Element, 2003 to 2011. Part number SB376.

Never sold here, so a UK car is an import.

Designed to be hosed out

Honda gave the Element a urethane coated floor with no carpet, seats you could fold flat or remove entirely, and clamshell doors with no B pillar. It was built for people who came back muddy, and the interior was designed around that from the start.

Which decides your trim choice more than anything else. Ask us about neoprene trimmed shells, which shed water and can be wiped down. Fitting velour to an Element defeats the point of the vehicle.

The clamshell doors

The rear doors only open once the front is open, and there is no B pillar between them. That gives unusually good access with a fixed shell fitted, which is a rare advantage.

This frame is made for the Honda Element (2003-2011). Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.
