A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Dodge Charger, sixth generation, 2006 to 2010. Part number SB112.

The LX Charger, built on a platform derived from the Mercedes E-Class of the period. That surprises people and it explains why some of what sits under the trim does not look American at all.

The seventh generation from 2011 takes SB112.1. Dodge revised the interior for the 2012 model year, so if your car sits near that boundary, check the build plate rather than the registration year and send it to us.

What the swap gains you

The SRT8 is the version that gets driven properly, and the standard seat is built for comfort rather than cornering. In a car this heavy nobody is fitting a shell to save weight; what changes is that you stop sliding about.

The rest of the range

Most LX Chargers are ordinary V6 saloons, and a great many were police cars. If yours is an ex fleet car with a wrecked driver’s seat, tell us, because that wants something padded rather than a racing shell.

This listing is the RHD Driver Side frame. The two sides are separate parts, so if you are doing both seats you need one of each. Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
