It is a Mercedes underneath
The Crossfire was built during the DaimlerChrysler years on the R170 SLK floorpan, with Mercedes running gear under a Chrysler body. Somewhere around four fifths of the car is Mercedes.
That is genuinely useful when you are hunting parts, and it explains why the seat mounting arrangement is not what the badge would lead you to expect. If a Crossfire specific part is unfindable, an SLK of the same era is where to look.
Parts are the practical problem
Chrysler pulled out of Europe and Crossfire interior trim is not being made. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so the original seats come out whole and can go back in. Store them and their fixings somewhere dry, because you will not easily replace them.
Space
A Crossfire is narrow inside with a high transmission tunnel. Shell width matters, so tell us your height and build.
Side airbags are fitted. Handed, so order twice for a pair.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
