Which is the thing to understand before anyone goes near the floor with a drill. Honda built the NSX with an aluminium structure, and aluminium does not behave like steel when you cut, weld or load it in ways it was not designed for.
This bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut. On this car that is not a preference, it is the only responsible approach.
Think twice before changing the seats at all

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
