A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Oldsmobile Cutlass, 1997 to 1999. Part number SB149.

Nothing to do with the classic Cutlass

Worth stating plainly, because the name misleads. The 1964 to 1967 A-body Cutlass and its 442 are what people picture, and that takes SB217. This one is a front wheel drive saloon closely related to the Chevrolet Malibu of the same years and to the Oldsmobile Alero that replaced it.

If you came looking for the classic, SB217 is your part.

The last few years of a dying brand

Oldsmobile was already being wound down when this car was built and General Motors closed the marque in 2004. Nobody makes parts for it. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so the originals come out whole, and you should keep them.

What the swap is realistically for

A high mileage car with a collapsed seat. Ask us about padded or reclining options rather than a racing shell.
