A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Nissan 200SX on the S12 chassis, 1984 to 1988. Part number SB203.

The S12 is the Silvia of that generation. It is not the S13 or S14 that most people mean when they say 200SX, and it has nothing to do with the B14, which is a front wheel drive Sentra coupe sold under the same name in America.

The forgotten Silvia

The S12 sits between the classic S110 and the S13 that started the drift era, and it is the one nobody talks about. That is why they are scarce now: nobody thought to save them.

The surviving ones tend to be owned by people who know exactly what they have, and a reversible installation matters accordingly. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut.

Forty years old and rarely cherished. Get right under the carpet and look at the metal round the mounting points before you spend anything.
