The 2011 to 2012 change
Dodge substantially revised the Challenger interior for the 2012 model year, which is why the part numbers split there. If your car sits on that boundary, check the build plate rather than the registration year, because the two do not always agree.

The 6.1 Hemi car is the one worth building from this period. It is heavy, so nobody fits a shell for weight, and what changes is that you stop sliding about when the car is loaded up.
