A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Audi TT, 1998 to 2006. Part number SB100.

The Mk1, and it is Golf Mk4 underneath, which is why VW Group parts cross over on these as often as they do.

Three TTs, three brackets

Audi have used the name across three structurally different cars. The Mk2 and the Mk3 take their own parts and none of them interchange. Send us the registration if you are not certain which you have.

Headroom is the reason people fit a shell

A Mk1 TT has a low, domed roofline and a high floor, and it is one of the tightest cars for headroom in this whole range. Put a helmet on and it becomes obvious immediately. Getting properly low is worth more here than in almost anything else we make a bracket for.

Practical

The quattro versions are the ones being tracked. Side airbags are fitted, so tell us the specification.

Which seats fit this bracket?
It is drilled for three bolt patterns: 291mm (Cobra), 345mm (Sparco, OMP and Corbeau) and 405mm (Recaro and other XL seats). A side mounted FIA shell can also be fitted using a separate set of side mounts bolted to the bracket.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Planted frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.

We bring a batch over roughly every 3 to 5 weeks. Everything in each batch is pre-sold against a customer order, so the sooner your order is in, the sooner it ships.
