A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Audi S4 on the C4 chassis, 1991 to 1994. Part number SB142.

The naming is genuinely confusing on this car

Audi renamed the range partway through the generation. The C4 S4 became the C4 S6 in 1994 with no significant change to the car, so a 1994 S4 and a 1995 S6 are close to the same thing. If yours is an S6 of that era, send us the registration and we will confirm this suits it.

Separately, the later B5 S4 is a completely different car on a different platform, and the two get confused constantly because both are called S4.

What the C4 S4 is

The 2.2 litre five cylinder turbo, the last of Audi’s five pot performance saloons before the V6 took over. That engine is the reason these have a following and the reason the good ones are appreciating.

Practical

Thirty years old. The bracket picks up the factory mounting points so nothing is cut, and original interiors are getting scarce. Get the carpet up before you spend.
