E92 M3 values have stopped falling. A car with its original interior intact is worth more than one that has been cut about, and that gap widens every year.
A direct fit frame is a reversible installation. It bolts to the mounting points BMW already put in the floor, so nothing is drilled, the originals come out whole, and they go back in the day you sell it. Put the standard seats somewhere dry and keep the fixings with them.
What the frame family covers
The HC848 stem runs across a lot of modern BMW: the 1 Series E87, F22, F80 M3, M2, F87 and M240i.
Each has its own suffix and they are not interchangeable, so order on the chassis code rather than the family.
Seat brand stays open
Two bolt patterns, from the multi-hole clusters at each corner of the plate. 345mm by 271mm for Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats, 405mm by 290mm for Recaro.
Worth having on an M car, where a good number of owners want to stay with Recaro. A Sparco frame will not take one.
Ordering
Steel, base mount. Sold singly and handed, so choose RHD driver or RHD passenger and order twice for a pair. Side airbags in the factory seats are worth raising with us before you start.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the BMW E92 M3 (E92). Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
