Check what your factory seats are before you remove them
This is the one car in the range where that sentence earns its place. If the car was ordered with the optional carbon shell buckets, those seats are worth serious money on their own, considerably more than the seat you are about to fit.
A direct fit frame keeps that option open. It uses the mounting points already in the floor, so the originals come out undamaged and go back in for sale. Store them properly.
Why an F80 gets a seat anyway
Usually the harness. The factory seat is built around a three point belt, and once you are running a six point the standard seat is the thing stopping the harness working as intended.
The turbocharged six makes this a car that gains speed quickly on corner exit, which is exactly when a driver who is not held in place starts steering with their shoulders.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the BMW F80 M3 (F80). Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
