The Datsun 240Z, launched in 1969 by Nissan under the Datsun name, was a game-changer in the sports car world. It blended sleek European-inspired styling with Japanese reliability and a price that undercut its competitors. Powered by a 2.4-liter inline-six, it delivered strong performance and a great driving experience. In the US, it helped redefine what an affordable sports car could be, quickly gaining a cult following. Today, the 240Z is celebrated as a classic that helped put Japanese performance cars on the global map.
Once you start using your Datsun 240Z for fast road and track use, you’ll soon realize just how much you need new bucket seats to provide more support.
