The TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite (part number 21C605) is the standard-adjuster six-point FIA harness in the Magnum range. It uses 75mm webbing on both shoulder and lap straps and carries FIA 8853-2016 homologation for saloon cars. If your class regulations require FIA 8853-2016 specifically, this is the lowest-cost Magnum that meets the standard.
The Superlite designation means aluminium adjusters on the shoulder straps with steel on the lap and sub straps. That puts it between the all-steel standard Magnum and the all-aluminium Ultralite 6 Point (21C606) in terms of both weight and price. In practice, the difference from steel-throughout is most noticeable at the shoulders, where the adjusters do the most frequent work.
The aircraft rotary buckle sits on the crotch strap rather than the lap strap, which is standard for six-point harnesses. Installation is clip-in or wrap-around shoulder mounting. Eyebolts and 7/16″ UNF set-screws are in the kit. The intercom cable tab, thumb loops and Velcro lap patches are all standard.
At £245 this is £40 more than the standard Magnum 4 Point and £40 less than the Magnum Ultralite 6 Point. If your regulations require a six-point layout and FIA 8853-2016, and you do not need aluminium adjusters throughout, this is the sensible stopping point. If you race solo in a class that accepts FIA 8854-1998 and does not specify a six-point layout, the four-point Magnum is simpler to live with at a lower price.
