Houndstooth is why this listing exists. The centre panels are the black and white check that has been on fast cars since the sixties, set against black vinyl outers, and it is the version of the GT people buy for a car where the interior is part of the point. In a classic or a restomod it looks like it belongs. In a modern hatchback it looks like a decision, which may be exactly what you want.
The seat under the trim
The GT is a reclining sport seat on a steel frame, base mount, with no armrests and no head support wings. Sparco list it as suiting all heights, with a 32 to 36 or 36 to 38 inch waist bracket, so it is one of the more accommodating shells in their reclining range.
It takes a four point harness and works with the standard diagonal seatbelt, which is what you want in a road car that has not been caged.
Road and Track. No FIA homologation, so it is not a competition seat.
Fitting
Base mount on the 345mm by 271mm pattern, shared with the R100 and R333, so sub-frames and runners carry across the range.
Supplied as the seat only. Each side needs a vehicle specific sub-frame, plus runners if you want fore and aft adjustment. Tell us the car and we will match them.
Cloth centres against vinyl outers wear differently. The vinyl takes the scuffing on the bolsters where you get in and out, and the cloth stays comfortable where you sit.
