A Planted Technology seat bracket for the Honda Civic, tenth generation, 2016 onwards. Part number SB290.
The FK8 Type R is why this bracket exists. It held the front wheel drive Nurburgring record, it has a genuinely sorted chassis, and a great many of them are used on track.
Think hard before you change a Type R seat
The FK8 came with deeply bolstered seats that are among the best factory seats fitted to any hot hatch. They hold you properly and they are part of what the car is worth on resale.
If yours is a Type R, tell us what you are trying to achieve before you spend. For a lot of owners the honest answer is to keep them and put the money into a harness bar, belts and a head restraint instead. We would rather say that than take the order.
If you are caging the car, or your class has a seat rule, that changes the answer and we will work it through with you.
On the ordinary Civics
The Sport and the standard cars have conventional seats and the case for a shell is straightforward.
Side airbags and occupancy sensing throughout. Tell us the specification.
