The truck that was not quite big enough
Toyota built the T100 as their first attempt at an American full size pickup and it fell between two stools: too big for compact buyers, too small and underpowered for the people buying F-150s. There was no V8 at all. It sold poorly and was replaced by the Tundra.
It was never sold here, so a UK vehicle is an import and the parts supply reflects that. That is exactly why a bolt in bracket that needs nothing fabricated is worth more than the part costs.
What it does have
Toyota reliability from the period, which is considerable, and the 3VZ and later 5VZ V6 engines that ran to enormous mileages. The ones that survived did so for good reason.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
