An unlikely car to be seating, and a good one

Rear wheel drive, a twin turbo V6 in GT form, and a chassis developed at the Nurburgring. Kia hired a great deal of German engineering talent to build it and it shows. It is a genuinely quick grand tourer that almost nobody expected from the badge.

It shares its platform with the Genesis G70, so if you are cross referencing, that is where to look.

What the seat swap is for

The GT is fast and heavy and the standard seat is built for covering distance. Once the car is loaded up you slide about, and once a harness goes in a seat that moves under you undoes a good part of what the harness is doing.

Nobody is doing this for weight in a car this size.
