The 10th generation Corolla is a popular platform for fast road builds and trackday use, mostly because it is a balanced, reliable car that is cheap to buy and easy to live with while you work on it. It is one of the better-served Corolla generations for a vehicle-specific frame: earlier Corollas, the 7th, 8th and 9th generations, have no off-the-shelf subframe in the current catalogue, so fabricating or adapting is the only route there. This generation is not one of those.
The Planted bracket is base mount and confirmed for this chassis. From there the seat you choose decides whether side mounts get added.

FIA competition bucket seats
Every seat here carries FIA 8855-1999 homologation except the two Cobra options, which are road and track rated. The Cobra Monaco Pro at £235 and the Sparco Sprint at £252.00 are the cheapest FIA shells. The Sparco Sprint L at £284.40 covers 40in to 42in waist, the widest fit on this page, and the Cobra Nogaro Club Sport at £629.00 is listed for over 6ft, useful if you are taller than average. The Cobra Suzuka T RT Track at £524.10 is listed for a narrower 28in to 32in waist and under 6ft.

Reclining sport seats
For a Corolla still doing daily miles, a reclining seat on the bracket keeps things straightforward and needs no side mounts. The Sparco R100 and R100 Vinyl at £235 sit on the same bolt pattern family as most of the range. The Cobra Daytona at £599.00 is the premium single-seat option, and two Corbeau pairs, the Sportline RRS and SVR Vinyl, work out around half their pair price per seat.

There is no harness made specifically for this car, so you are fitting a universal belt and working out the mounting yourself. The standard rear seat belt mounts are not rated for harness shoulder strap loads, so a bolt-in harness bar or a fabricated anchor point is needed, since no cage is currently confirmed for this generation.
The Schroth Profi 3×2 at £370 and the TRS Magnum 6 Point Superlite at £294.00 are both FIA 8853-2016. The TRS Magnum 4 Point at £139 is FIA 8854-1998. All three carry a stamped expiry date regardless of wear. For a road or trackday car, the Takata Drift II and III and the TRS Clubman belts cost less, though none of those four are HANS compatible.

The AE86, AE92, AE82 and E120 cages listed elsewhere in the catalogue under the Corolla name are for earlier chassis on this site’s own generation split, and we are not going to sell you a cage built for a different floor because the title says Corolla.
