A 360 is not a car you put a budget seat in. The cabin is small, the driving position is low and fixed, and the seat is most of what you touch and most of what you look at, so it is worth doing once and doing properly. Every seat on this page is a premium reclining seat and the cheapest of them is £1,549.00.
Two things decide the job on this car: which of the two frames you go on, and the bolt pattern of the seat you have chosen. Get those the right way round and the rest is straightforward.

We stock a fitting frame for the 360 from two of the three brands we rate, and between them they cover every seat in this guide. A frame is the vehicle specific base that bolts to the floor in place of the standard seat runners, and it sets your final seat height. The 360’s cockpit is tight and low, so getting the frame right matters more here than it does in a bigger car. Which frame you buy decides which seats you can run, so this choice comes first.
£275.00 inc VAT, fits one seat. Order it twice for a pair. Bolts a Cobra seat straight to the 360's factory floor points and is the route for the two Cobra Misanos.
Part SB159, £222.60 inc VAT a side, RHD driver and passenger sold separately. A flat base that takes any seat in this guide, paired with runners matching that seat's pattern.
Every reclining seat we sell bolts down through a base mount pattern, and the pattern is what decides which frame you can use. Cobra recliners use 291mm x 330mm, which is exactly what the Cobra subframe is built around, so a Cobra seat on a Cobra frame is the neatest fit on this car.
The other three go a different way. Both Sparcos are 345mm x 271mm and the Recaro is 405mm x 290mm, and nothing in Cobra’s frame range is drilled for either. That is what the Planted bracket is for: a flat base that bolts to the 360’s own floor points and takes any seat, with runners on top matching whatever pattern your seat uses.
| Seat | Bolt pattern | Cobra subframe | Planted bracket |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cobra Misano Lux | Cobra pattern | Fits | Fits |
| Recaro Sportster CS | 405 x 290 | No | Fits |
| Cobra Misano Anniversary | 291 x 330 | Fits | Fits |
| Sparco SPR | 345 x 271 | No | Fits |
| Sparco SPX | 345 x 271 | No | Fits |
The Lux is where the Misano range starts, and it is a carbon backrest seat trimmed in leather or Dinamica to whatever combination you ask for. In a 360 that matters more than it does in most cars, because the cabin is small enough that the seat is most of what you look at. It is built to order, so the trim is a conversation and not a dropdown you regret.
Cameron would put this at the top of the list for anyone who wants the car to still feel like a Ferrari inside. It is the cheapest of these five and it is still a long way above what most people spend on a reclining seat.
People ask about this seat regardless of what they drive, and in a 360 it earns it. It is the most road-usable seat on this page: proper side bolstering without the climb-in feel of a bucket, and a shape that suits long drives as much as it suits a trackday.
The catch on this car is the pattern. The Sportster CS is 405mm x 290mm, which is Recaro’s own spacing and nothing else uses it, so the Cobra subframe is out and you are on the Planted bracket with a Recaro compatible runner kit on top.
Cobra list a Misano Anniversary built for the Ferrari 360 specifically, which is why it is the one linked here instead of the standard listing. Same seat, same 11.5kg, same made to order four to six weeks, but ordered against your car.
It is the seat Garreth would have in his own 360. The Anniversary trim is a step up from the Lux and it holds you properly once the road opens up, without ever feeling like you have put a race seat in a road car.
The SPR is a fibreglass shell with a reclining mechanism, which is an unusual combination and the reason it is on this page. You get the shape and the hold of a competition seat with a backrest that still folds and adjusts, so the 360 stays usable on a Sunday.
Listed as suitable for all waist sizes and all heights, which is rare at this end of the range and useful if more than one person drives the car.
Carbon fibre shell, reclining, and the most expensive seat we would put in a 360. If the argument for spending this much on a seat holds anywhere it holds in a car like this, where the seat is a structural part of how the car feels and not just somewhere to sit.
It is base mount on the Sparco 345mm x 271mm pattern, so like the SPR it goes on the Planted bracket with Sparco runners. Order the driver side and passenger side separately.
Both frames bolt to the 360’s factory seat mounting points, so there is no drilling on a standard floor. Torque the floor bolts properly and check seat belt buckle clearance before you drive, because a sport seat often sits the buckle somewhere new. Between seat and frame go the sliding runners, and they follow the same pattern logic as the frames. The Cobra subframe is sold to fit one seat, so a pair means adding two to the basket, and the Planted bracket is listed per side, RHD driver and passenger, so the same applies there.
| Your seat | Runners to order | Works on |
|---|---|---|
| Cobra Misano Lux or Misano Anniversary | Cobra Premium sliding runners, £84.00 a seat | Cobra subframe or Planted bracket |
| Recaro Sportster CS | Endurance Recaro compatible runner kit, £95.04 a seat | Planted bracket |
| Sparco SPR or SPX | Sparco sliding runner kit, £41.94 a seat | Planted bracket |
The 360 covers Ferrari’s Modena and Spider from 1999 to 2004, including the Challenge Stradale built on the same shell. The Planted bracket is listed for 1999 to 2005, so if your car is right on that boundary, check the exact build date with us before ordering. If your car is a later F430, neither frame in this guide applies.
| Seat | Bolt pattern | Waist | Height | Price inc VAT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cobra Misano Lux | Cobra | 32 to 38in | All | £1,549.00 |
| Recaro Sportster CS | 405 x 290 | All sizes | All | £1,581.30 |
| Cobra Misano Anniversary, 360 fitment | 291 x 330 | 32 to 38in | All | £1,674.00 |
| Sparco SPR | 345 x 271 | All sizes | All | £1,858.94 |
| Sparco SPX | 345 x 271 | 32 to 38in | All | £2,815.79 |
Prices include VAT and were correct on 15 August 2026. Where a weight says not published, the manufacturer does not give one and we will not guess it. Waist and height figures are the manufacturers’ published fitment ranges; if you are on a boundary, ask us before ordering.
Not on a standard floor. Both frames bolt to the factory seat mounting points. Torque the floor bolts properly and check the seat belt buckle clearance before you drive, because a sport seat often sits the buckle somewhere new.
No. The Cobra subframe is built around the 291mm x 330mm pattern. The Recaro Sportster CS is 405mm x 290mm and both Sparcos are 345mm x 271mm, so all three of those go on the Planted bracket with runners matching their own pattern. Only the two Cobra Misanos have the choice of either frame.
Because we picked the seats first and the frame second, which is the right way round on a car like this. Cobra only make a subframe for their own pattern, and the Planted bracket exists precisely so a seat on any other pattern can still go in. It is one more part to buy and it opens the whole range up.
Every seat in this guide is listed by its manufacturer as 4 point compatible, with belt slots in the backrest. If you are planning harnesses, tell us when you order and we will make sure the whole setup works together.
It is listed to fit one seat position, so a pair means adding two to the basket. The Planted bracket works the same way, sold per side with RHD driver and passenger options. If anything on a listing is unclear, ask before ordering.
Both Misanos are built to order in your choice of trim, and the listing says four to six weeks. The Sparcos and the Recaro are stock items. If you have a date in mind, say so when you order and Cameron will confirm the real lead time before you commit.
The 360 Modena and Spider run from 1999 to 2004, and the Challenge Stradale shares the same shell. The Planted bracket is listed for 1999 to 2005, so if your registration is right on that boundary, check the exact build date with us before ordering. If your car is a later F430, neither frame in this guide applies.
If it were my money: the Misano Anniversary in the Ferrari 360 fitment, on the Cobra subframe, with Cobra Premium runners. It is the seat listed for this car, it is built to your trim, and the Cobra route is the tidiest fit because the frame and the seat come from the same place.
If you want the best seat on the page and the budget is not the deciding factor, the SPX. Be clear with yourself that you are then on the Planted bracket with Sparco runners, which is two more parts per side than the Cobra route, and order the driver and passenger sides separately.
Every one of these is a serious seat for a serious car, and none of them is a seat we would put in something cheap. That is deliberate. Ring 0115 9893488 and Cameron will confirm the frame, the runners and the seat as one order before you spend anything.
