The Clio IV was introduced at the September–October 2012 Paris Motor Show, and began marketing a month later. It is available in hatchback body style and starting from early 2013 also as an estate. Production occurred during (2012-2019).
Once you take your Renault Clio onto the track or decide to drive your Clio for fast road use, you’ll soon realize just how much you need a new bucket seats to provide more support.
On cornering, you may find your self holding onto the steering wheel tighter than usual, tensing your thighs and legs against the central console and/or door card. You’ll probably find your weight shifting in the seat and having to re-position your self after the corner.
None of this is correct. Your seat should provide the right level of support so that you can grip the steering wheel only for steering, your legs should be supported and your weight shouldn’t shift around. The recommendations we provide are to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported allowing you to focus on the job at hand.

We recommended the SW Motorsports Renault Clio Mk4 side mount brackets. These perfectly fit your vehicle and will allow you to quickly and easily install the side-mounted bucket seats we suggest in our guide.
These bolt to the floor of your Clio using the original mounting points so you do not have to modify the car. They provide a fixed position with your bucket seat (sliders are not suitable).
There is a range of fixing points so you can position your bucket seat at various heights and angles. This will allow you to set your seat up correctly for your desired driving height.Â
