The SW Motorsports Renault Clio Mk4 Seat Side Mounts, part SWS-Clio-Mk4-SM, fit the Mk4 Clio RS floor and provide driver and passenger side mounting positions for bucket seats. The Mk4 floor is a clean departure from the Mk3, and hardware for the earlier car does not transfer across.

The Mk4 Clio RS ran from 2012 to 2019 and was a notable change of direction from its predecessor. The Mk3 RS had a mechanical LSD and a direct feel that earned it a loyal following among track day drivers; the Mk4 replaced the LSD with a dual-clutch EDC gearbox and brake-based torque vectoring. The reaction at launch was mixed, though the car proved competitive on track over time. More relevant to these mounts is that the Mk4 platform is fundamentally different from the Mk3, with its own floor mounting point layout. A Mk3 Clio subframe or side mount will not bolt to this car.

The Mk4 Clio RS weighed around 1,270kg in standard road trim. The standard sports seats, while presentable, were heavier than competition hardware, and removing them is a standard step in a road-to-track conversion. SW Motorsports seat mounts are produced in batches and we take deliveries weekly, so those are generally available for quick dispatch.

Their roll cages are a different matter. Each one is made to order here in the UK, and production currently takes 6 to 8 weeks from the day you order.

Made to order means our special order and roll cage cancellation terms apply once production starts. Tell us the car and the class you run in, and we will confirm the specification and the current lead time first.
