A Planted Technology seat bracket for the VW Passat on the B8 chassis, 2015 onwards. Part number SB330.

B8 is the chassis code and it is what to order on. Volkswagen moved the Passat onto MQB for this generation, which is a genuinely different structure from the B7, so a B7 part will not do.

What you are likely building

Be honest about it, because it changes what you should buy. A B8 Passat is a large, comfortable car and very few end up on a circuit. The ones we see are usually either high mileage cars where the original seat has collapsed, or estate conversions and support vehicles where the driver spends real hours in the seat.

Both of those want a padded or reclining seat rather than a fixed racing shell. A hard bucket over a four hour motorway run is a decision you regret by the first services. Tell us how the car is used and we will point you at something sensible.
